TN Summer Exposure Tourney Update

We had a great weekend at the Tennessee Summer Exposure tourney in Murfreesboro this past weekend.

We finished as the number one seed out of our eight team pool, giving up only seven runs in six full seven inning games:

Scores:

Beat the Murfreesboro Firebirds 2-0
Beat the Huntsville Sharks (White) 3-2
Beat the Mississippi Fury 4-1
Beat the Mississippi Motion 2-0
Tied the Wisconsin Bandits 1-1
Tied the Indy Crush (Walker) 3-3

We made it to bracket play on Sunday, and didn't fare as well -- we had one bad inning after a solid start and lost Team Synergy Gold 10-0.

Overall though, we had one bad inning out of the 46 innings of softball we played, and I feel really excited that we've prepared ourselves well for the NSA World Series next week in Chattanooga.

We have our last two practices of the summer coming up this week, and then's it on to Chattanooga on Monday -- first games of the tourney begin Tuesday morning.
