End of our 2010 Summer Season

We went 2-1 in our last tourney of the summer, beating the Red Storm Fury 4-2 and the StrikeZone Force 12-0 before dropping a tough 3-2 game to the Cruisers 16U in the semi-finals.

While we didn't have the team success that I had wanted us to have this year, we had several players who showed outstanding growth over the course of the summer, which I'm really excited about. I'm proud of how hard everyone worked, and, as we discussed after our game on Saturday, how much all of the players loved and supported each other during the summer, in games and in practices.

Now it's time to review our summer efforts, what worked and what didn't, and to identify what we need to do differently in order to improve the team's performance this fall and next summer. Note that we'll be moving up to 18U this fall.

We'll be scheduling tryouts by the end of August to fill what available slots we have, so be watching for that information. If you want to get more information in advance, please email me at jaywaters@yahoo.com for more information about our team and our plans for this fall and next summer.
