White Lightning Blue 93 wrapped up our summer season at the NSA "A" World Series in Chattanooga, finishing 5th out of 73 teams. WLB beat teams from Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Tennessee and Missouri to make to the final day of the tourney.
Overall, we played 42 games, posting a record of 26-15-1. We played 34 different teams over the course of the year, including teams from Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Massachusetts, Kentucky and New York – which is really one of the fun parts of playing travel softball.
All in all, a really good year for our first year as a 16U team -- but we want to build on that success for our second year. Pretty soon we'll be working on our fall roster and schedule, and laying our ground work for next summer's season.
