First tourney weekend

We were fortunate to get in two games this weekend at the Vipers Memorial Tourney before the tourney was washed out by all the rain.

The first game was a typically flat first game for us. We lost 6-0 to the Vipers Booth team, primarily due to our inability to get anything going on offense.

I think that the second game vs. the White Lightning Orange team was more revealing as to the kind of team that we are going to have. We rallied from 3 runs down in the last inning to score 5 runs to go ahead 6-4, using the combination of power and baserunning that I think will be our team strengths. We also played pretty solid defense in the last two innnings to give us a chance to have a comeback.

Couple of weeks of practice now till our next tourney at the Southeastern Exposure at Liberty Park.
